We at RentAvilla are so happy and feel so fortunate to be able to offer our guests in our Paris apartments the unique experiences of Annette Cointement, founder of Bienvenue à Paris. For years now, Annette, who is a local Parisian, has been offering visitors to Paris unique experiences that make their stays in Paris even more memorable. Annette spent her life traveling with her family and developed a love of cultures and people. She has raised her family in Paris and now that the children are spreading their wings and starting their adult lives, Annette has decided to share her love of Paris, fine things and experiences.

Annette always has a secret place to visit and has figured out how to open the doors to many of Paris' wonders! Now she is offering visitors to The City of Lights unique workshops where they can learn more than they had ever hoped to learn about some of France's culinary traditions. Annette has three different work shops to whet your appetites!
Cooking the French way
If you love to cook and have the time during your visit, this 3:30 hour workshop on a Tuesday or Friday from 10:30 AM to 2:00 Pm is perfect for you. Annette will welcome you in her home where you will do the following:
- Visit the Grande Epicerie, one of Paris' most wonderful culinary shopping centers. Here you will discover many French delights!
- Shop for seasonal products in an outdoor food market
- Cook your meal (starter + main dish or main dish + dessert_
- Enjoy eating what you have prepared with a nice glass of wine pairing with your food
Price:
400 Euros for the workshop including cooking class, lunch and wine
This is for a group of 2-4 people.

Les Macarons
The macaron has become a favorite and colorful dessert that is making its way around the globe! Come to Annette's pastry class and learn how make them yourself and amaze your friends back home!
This is a two hour workshop on a weekday in the morning or afternoon.
This workshop allows you to:
- Choose the flavor: chocolate, or salted butter and caramel
- Prepare the famous French macarons: macarons and ganache
- Eat the macarons you have prepared with a cup of coffee or a cup of tea
- Bring back home a bag of 10 macarons
Price:
200 Euros for the workshop including pastry class plus tea time
This is for a group of 2 to 4 guests.
A Unique Cheese Experience
"A meal without cheese is like a day without sunshine!" Yes, this is one of France's most famous sayings! Annette is offering 2:39 hour workshops on a week day morning, either Tuesday or Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
This workshop allows you to learn more about:
- How to select your cheese (in an indoor or outdoor food market)
- How to set up the "perfect" cheese plate
- How to serve and eat cheese
- How to follow some simple rules to pair wine with cheese
Price:
300 Euros for the workshop including a cheese tasting with wine and special bread
This is for a group of 2-4 guests.
